Abolish the practice of Daylight Savings Time.

Created by B.S. on March 09, 2014

In today's society the practice of changing our clocks forward or backward each fall and spring is no longer necessary for the majority of the populace. This was a practice that was introduced in a time different from ours. Where the needs of a family to tend the farm or shop were different throughout the year. Daylight Savings Time was conceived in 1784 as way to utilize sun light more efficiently. With today's technology and energy efficiency developments the practice is no longer needed. I look forward to "springing forward" for I enjoy the added sunlight in the evening, but "falling back" is no longer needed. Thank you for your consideration, and as a parent I know you understand how frustrating the practice is.
