ABOLISH THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIVILEGE TO GRANT PARDONS.

Created by T.G. on September 19, 2015

No one individual including an elected president should override our justice system and grant a pardon to a convicted criminal. The time and finances that are consumed with this practice each year are out of control. Our Attorney Generals office could be spending more time investigating those individuals that may have been wrongfully convicted. Instead it's attorney's are sorting through applications to determine who gets in the lottery pool for a chance to get out jail free. It's an insult to our justice system and to those that were truly wrongfully convicted who's voice is not being heard. If a criminal is convicted by a jury of peers, who is the president, voted into office by some of the same peers to override their decision?
