In an attempt to ensure that our correctional system actually acheives what it sets out to do in the first place, we the people of the united states petition our government to both end and prevent all outsourcing of prison labor to and administrative responsibilities to private corporations. Understanding that a private corporation needs only worry about profit as a means of survival, we do not feel that such an entity is fit to ensure and oversee the rehabilitation and reintroduction of incarcerated criminals in our society.
