Abolish religion

It is of my belief that the largest out-cry to general ideas used to help with the furthering of mankind, and the general well being of the American people is often suppressed by the "religious." If we were to remove religion as a prominent power in our society then the American people would be more focused on the problems at hand and be more in tune to their feelings of right and wrong and not in following blindly a book that is quite frankly 2,000 years of the kindergarten game "telephone."
By doing this it would allow for a more tolerant America, if religion was not a factor in our way of life then we would not have religious wars on our soil ( mosk shooting, church arson, church explosions, etc) it wouldn't be an issue if your white, black, Baptist, Buddhiest, or Musilum.
