Right to Work is movement across the United States to weaken unions by preventing unions from being able to recoup the cost of the protections they provide all workers. The point is to make it more difficult for unions to be able to pay for the services they provide and make unions less able to represent workers. Workers in "RtW states" have lower wages and benefits than those with the stronger unions.
Currently a minority of states are attacking unions this way, but it is spreading.
