The state law demanding occupants of a motorized vehicle to wear a selt belt at all times, is a violation of our civil rights. Those driving a motorcycle are not required to wear a helmet therefore motorist in a vehicle should have the same freedom of choice. Children should not be included in this petition; however, adults should have the right to choose since their actions of choosing not to wear a selt belt, harms no one else and does not infringe on any other persons rights. This law is proven to be strictly enforced as a source of monetary gains and has no bearing on the person(s) choosing not to wear a seat belt.
