On January 23, 2013, the Pentagon decided to end its policy of excluding women from combat positions.
This is a petition that calls for either the abolishment of the Selective Service System or end the exemption of all women from having to register for the Selective Service System. All women MUST therefore adhere to the SAME requirements as men in order to obtain the same benefits and are subject to the same punishments for failure to register.
In order to help further close the gap on gender inequality in society and the Armed Forces, this petition is submitted.
