the sex offender registries were set up to make aware and protect. they were set up regardless of the fact that they ARE a form of punishment and therefore unconstitutional.
they do not work. every expert opinion is they are actually causing more harm, murders killing people on the lists, and families of these people including children, less then 20% of these millions of people can get work and go on welfare and disability further taxing our system,60 percent at least homeless unable to live anywhere.
all of these reasons and more are reasons sex offenders refuses to sign up to this expensive waste of tax dollars that could better be spent in treatment which is less expensive and proven to work. lets stop the fear that is costing us our morality and our country.
