We are asking our Federal government to abolish the Stand Your Ground Laws. These laws are counterproductive, and will only lead to more tragedy, as more citizens who are unqualified to handle guns, arm themselves. Any one of us could encounter a "George" in our daily travels. Must we arm ourselves in anticipation of this? These laws are ineffective and we insist they be abolished forthwith. We will stand our ground too.
