Abolish States Ability to Steal Our Votes By Giving Away Our Electoral College Vote

This petition is to provide that all states must give the electoral vote(s) to the presidential and vice presidential candidate that receives the majority of the votes in that congressional district. Currently states decide how to divide the electoral votes and most states have a winner take all which allows wide sweeping winners in races that are actually much closer in popular votes which steals our votes and our voices. This petition is to stop states from stealing our votes by demanding that states give our votes to the candidate that the district voted for in presidential and vice presidential elections. This petition is to ask the federal gov't to pass legislation that provides that states must give each congressional district's electoral vote to the winning candidate.
