This petition is to ask the President to abolish the statute of limitations on sex crimes against children and adults. Many children find years later they have abuse in their past but are unable to ever seek justice about the situation. Thus causing them to have problems with depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
If we abolish that statue of limitations on this people can finally seek justice on things that happened to them as children. Commonly children are not cited as credible witness even if they do report their abuse in their childhood and it gets looked over.
To address this we would need states to also get rid of their standards having a 20 or 25 year rule is crazy. It takes some people long time to get out of their situation.
