We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Abolish the Statute of Limitations on Rape & Sexual Assault in All 50 States

Created by R.C. on December 01, 2016

A woman is sexually assaulted every two minutes. Fifteen percent of Sexual assaults are between the ages of twelve & seventeen, 54 percent between eighteen & thirty four, twenty eight percent are 35 to 64 and 3% are 65 or older. 1 out of 6 women have been the victim of attempted rape/sexual assault or complete rape. 82% are female Juveniles and 90% are Adult Females.

On average, there are 288,820 victims of sexual assault annually. Less than half of those crimes go unreported. Most don’t report them out of fear of bodily harm, death or just being humiliated by the public and not believed. I ask the statute of limitations be abolished in all 50 states because it’s a crime the victim has to live with forever & there should never be a limitation on the prosecution of sexual violence.
