The right wing Tea Party is poisoning the American political system, causing the 2 week federal government shutdown, postponing the pay of hundreds of thousands of government employees and putting their own elitist interests before those of American citizens. Clearly their attitude is not concerned with the betterment of America, for Americans. It is only concerned with gaining complete power to further their selfish interests. This cannot be acceptable in a so-called modern day, democratic system of politics, and the selfish actions of those close to power should not have dire consequences on those furthest from it.
In short, the Tea Party should be classed as a radical right-wing party, and subsequently banned from operating.
