Stories emerge daily about the TSA's blatant disregard for personal liberty. Established in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the TSA has outlived its usefulness. Flying Americans are less free than before the TSA was established. The events that unfolded aboard United Airlines Flight 93 and the failed “shoe-bomber,” Richard Reid show that no terrorist will again be able to hijack a US commercial flight without meeting resistance from other passengers. The measures taken to ensure the security of aircraft cockpits and the presence of Air Marshals aboard flights means that they won’t again be able to take control of the aircraft.
The TSA instills terror in everyone pulled aside for “additional screening.” Let’s end the government-sponsored terrorism.
