The liberty and right of the American people to keep their private possessions during air travel have been thoroughly violated by the tyrannical and pedantic Transportation Security Agency (TSA) as they needlessly confiscate countless harmless items: everything from peanut butter to nail clippers. This is not only unconstitutional under the 4th amendment, but also inherently un-American. Since the agency's creation, they have not stopped a single terrorist attack and have a 95% failure rate in detecting weapons and explosives, according to a collection of 70 tests run by the DHS (2015). This petition aims to save the taxpayers billions of dollars a year and countless hours whenever they travel by air by privatizing the inefficient and ineffective services of the TSA.
