The two-party system in this country has created a political bottleneck and division that is detrimental to U.S. citizens.
Our elected leaders are using the two-party system to justify their lack of performance.
The refusal to work together as the amendment was proposed by a member of the "other party" or the upcoming vote on a law is supported by a member of the "other party" is becoming a huge detriment to U.S. citizens.
Votes are no longer based on what U.S. citizens want, but rather what the party wants. Politicians are worried about not being re-elected or losing the financial support of their party.
Citizens need to elect leaders who best represent their concerns, not elect leaders because they are "Republican" or "Democrat."
This two-party system is destroying our country.
