We the People of the United States feel that the federal government has outgrown its initial purpose and has transitioned to an organization meant to suppress its citizens. As such, according to the Declaration of Independence (our fundamental basis for liberty), written by Thomas Jefferson (our esteemed third president): "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
Therefore, we presume it to be self-evident that the United States federal government has begun harming its citizens and must be abolished.
