We the undersigned believe that it is time to "reboot" the US Tax system and start over from scratch. The loop holes have loop holes and it's crazy. The average citizen pulls their hair out over filing their taxes every year the process is so complicated and complex that it's outgrown it's usefulness. Turns out the majority aren't tax payers, they are tax filers. They file a return and get a big refund, but don't, in fact, pay 1 cent in taxes.
Flat Tax, you made this much congratulations...now send us a check for X% of that amount due by April 15th. Thank you. No deductions, no exemptions, no refunds and no excuses. If it was put to every single american like that every spring...folks might start to wake up.
