Our veterans deserve the best health care our nation can offer; indeed they have truly EARNED it through their sacrifices. The US Veterans Administration is not, and never will be, up to the task of providing the best care available to our vets. This is a problem that goes back to the inception of the the VA, and can be summed up with the simple fact that bureaucracy and providing the best medical care possible cannot mix.
The solution is simple; abolish the medical care functions of the VA and replace them the same medical insurance program Congress gets. Unlike many in Congress, our Vets have EARNED their right of access to any doctor at any place and any time. If the Congressional medical plan is good enough for Senators and Representatives, it better be good enough for our vets.
