Abolish the use of pennies in the USA because of their lack of value as well as their high price to produce.

Many countries have decided to abolish the penny. They cost almost 2 cents to make and often end up on the ground or in people's change drawer making them widely unused and incredibly worthless. This would save the government billions per year and also would have (when rounding to the nearest 5 cents) a maximum effect (that could even be positive) of 2 cents.
