The veterans Health Administration (VHA) is in charge of the VA hospitals. Recently, it has come to light that it is a broken system that appears to be beyond repair. It is time to abolish the VHA. We have a system in place, the health insurance marketplace, that could be utilized to provide our Veterans with better care. We should allow our vets to sign up for a policy that would give them access to providers and care close to them. We should allow them to be able to chose a provider that can see them in a reasonable time frame and a provider that they are comfortable with. By subsidizing health insurance with little to no co pay or deductibles for veterans, we can provide them with the care they deserve. The care they have earned. The care that the VHA has never been able to.
