We should completely dismantle the Veterans administration and give each & every vet private insurance such as Blue Cross / Blue Shield. I have seen the inner workings or rather bumblings of the VA hospitals first hand as a contractor & with my wife who is also a Vet. It is sickening. They lie more then anything.
Now some people will say that this will leave a lot of people unemployed due to closing the hospital & clinics. Not really if you think about it. Closing the VA hospitals & clinics & giving the Vets private insurance will cause a huge influx of new patients into the regular health care system. With these new patients the current hospitals will then need to hire more Nurses, Doctors, Lab Techs and all of the other associated employees that are needed to run a hospital day to day
