In the 1960s America came very close to coexisting as an ethnically diverse country. The black community was unified in the sense that families stuck together, mothers took care of the children, and fathers legitimately paid the bills. When LBJ created welfare, it gave the blacks an excuse to stop working and receive free money from the government. Let's abolish welfare and stop giving out free hand outs. We, as a country, don't owe you anything.
