As most of us are aware the President of the United States of America is not technically decided by the will of the people of the United States, because of the Electoral college. Abolishing the electoral college and instituting a system that uses the popular vote to determine the outcome of the presidential election is much more inclusive and franchises all people of the United States. This system would expel the labels of "red" states and "blue" states which disenfranchises many voters. Also this system would make every vote equal, because they all determine the same outcome whereas currently some votes determine a much smaller outcome than others. Abolishing the Electoral College will create a system that is much more fair and better represents the will of the people.
