Abuse of Medicaid

Millions of people abuse the Medicaid system for free healthcare and prescriptions. I am calling for reform to save the tax payers billions of dollars. Medicaid should be limited to 4 years unless you are physically or mentally disabled. People with Medicaid should have copays for their care i.e. $10 for primary, $20 for Urgent Care and $50 for emergency rooms. They also should pay a $5 copay for generic medications and $10 for non generic medications. Nothing upsets hard working Americans more than supporting people that enjoy more non essential things in life than us while we shovel out hundreds a month for insurance and prescriptions. It's time to amend the policy of Medicaid and make the requirements more strict to prevent abuse of the system costing our country billions of dollars.
