Senator Blunt should be investigated for abuse of power. H.R. 933 has been signed into law with a special provision for biotech giants. According to an article published Monday in the New York Daily News, US Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Missouri) worked with Monsanto to craft the language in the bill. Monsanto has donated +$64,000.00 to Blunt campaigns in the last five years. This law effectively bars federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of GMO-GE crops and seeds, no matter what consequences arise. Under Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the Constitution, a Member of Senate may be removed from office before the normal expiration of his or her constitutional term by an "expulsion" from the Senate.
