Academic expulsion for students burning the American Flag.

Created by N.C. on November 11, 2016

I have witnessed on multiple newscasts students burning the American flag. Although burning of the American flag is protected by freedom of speech since June 11th 1990, I firmly believe it is time to bring back the Flag Protection Act of 1989. The riots that are stirring after the election have destroyed property and clearly show people expressing their newfound hate for America as well as our president- elect, Donald J. Trump. These students should be considered representatives of the USA and held equally responsible for upholding the integrity of our great nation, including its flag, especially in our Academic institutions. Despite the first amendment, I still consider the act of burning the American flag as unconstitutional. Please help me in bringing back the Flag Protection Act
