Accelerate the EPA's investigation on Neonicotinoid insecticides and their connection to Colony Collapse Disorder.

Neonicotinoids are a type of insecticide currently being used by many large agricultural companies to protect their crops. However, recent studies have produced evidence that this insecticide might very well be the direct cause of CCD, or colony collapse disorder in honeybees, which are extremely vital creatures in our ecosystem. Since 2006, around the time Neonicotinoids were introduced into the market, we have seen unprecedented numbers in bee deaths as a result of CCD. The European Agricultural Agency has gone as far as to declare Neonicotinoids as the DIRECT CAUSE of CCD, and several countries have severely restricted or outright banned the use of these chemicals citing their devastating effect on honey bee populations.
