Accept the ice bucket challenge, or declare a national day of awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Created by T.H. on August 25, 2014

In an effort to raise awareness of ALS we ask you to join us in demonstrating your support of those who suffer from this debilitating disease. We view this as a gesture of compassion and do not feel that your participation would in any way degrade the office which you hold. To the contrary, we see that the support of our president would not only serve to bring much needed attention to this horrible affliction, but to further bolster the image of the United States as a caring and compassionate country. While we feel that your participation would do the greatest good, if you choose to decline the challenge which has been extended to you by so many Americans, we would ask that you issue a presidential proclamation declaring a day of your choosing to be National ALS Awareness Day.
