Justice Scalia made the statement "I'm done. Do what you want", after the 26 June ruling on gay marriage rights. That statement clearly applies as a resignation from the Supreme Court. We urge the President, based on this statement and Scalia's obvious animous with the Constitution, demonstrated by his statement that the Constitution is a "dead document" to accept Justice Scalia's resignation immediately.
