Accept Only HUMAN Language in Legislation

Created by M.B. on June 24, 2013

It has become so that when one enters to vote yes or no on a piece of legislation, one needs to bring a lawyer along to help interpret the legalese. No offense intended to our respected officials, however, it is apparent that the system of writing legislation has become bloated with far too many lawyers, legal aides, and legislative assistants that more often than not change the legislation, either by design or by accident, from its intended goals and course of action. And, as a result of this meddling, legislators are usually ignorant of what they are speaking on, beyond the given talking points. It should be, through this petition, that all legislators should not only KNOW what they are proposing, but should be required to fully write the legislation, as our forefathers once did.
