It is time for the key representative parties to come to the table and openly discuss the issue of firearms in our society. The Intent should not be combative, for there is no resolution of this issue in that. Each side should be willing to lay bare its perceptions in hopes that a visible and Constitutionally compliant path to securing the 2nd Amendment rights of all citizens, as intended by the framers, is presented.
