America deserves an open and honest debate on our nation’s trade
policies. 35 years of Free Trade has destroyed the middle class of
America. More than 60,000 factories have closed their doors sending
millions of good paying jobs overseas. In 2008 Obama promised the
American people he would renegotiate and fix free trade agreements like
NAFTA. Not only was nothing done to fix NAFTA, now he is trying to pass the
Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. The TPP will send millions more of
our jobs overseas. Even worse; it replaces our democracy with
special trade courts which are accountable to no one. President Obama,
stand before the American people. Accept our challenge to debate the TPP
instead of trying to pass it in the dead of night in a lame duck
Congress while no one's watching.
