Accept SFC Nathan D Weber into the Army World Class Athlete Program. Giving him a chance to compete in the Olympics.

Created by N.W. on January 04, 2016

SFC Nathan Weber is an Army Green Beret and US bobsledder. Leading up to the 2014 Olympics SFC Weber was a part of the Army World Class Athlete Program competing in the sport of bobsled. He finished 4th at bobsled National Push Championships but was past over for more experienced push athletes for the 2014 Olympics.

Following this he returned to service with Special Forces and did two deployments. During there deployments he continued to train to rejoin the bobsled team. He returned to competition this year but due to injury was unable to make the the US National Team.

Because he did not make the National Team his application to the WCAP was denied. We would like to grant a waiver allowing him back into this great program. Give him the chance he worked hard for to make the Olympics.
