accept some responsibility for the current refugee crisis in Syria and do their fair share

We, the undersigned, demand that the American Government accept partial responsibility for the current Syrian Refugee crisis and agree to admit their fair share of refugees. The burden of this crisis should not fall just on Europe, it should fall on the country that arguably did the most to destabilize this region of the world in the past few years. The Bush Administration caused massive upheaval in this region and The Obama Administration has admitted that it has to do something to help in this area, I, personally, do not believe that just bombing the whole area is the best approach. We believe the best approach is to accept refugees, at least as many as most European countries have promised to accept. Step up America and accept fault!
