His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA the spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community is recognized as an Ambassador of Peace wherever he had traveled. During his recent demise on January 17, 2014, his half-brother – Khuzaima Qutbuddin has falsely claimed that Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA had appointed him as his successor- to the office of the 53rd Dai Al-Mutlaq in secret almost over 50 years ago.
This is a false accusation. Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin has appointed his second son, Syedna Muffadal Saifuddin TUS, as his successor- the 53rd Dai Al-Mutlaq. The appointment was made and reaffirmed on many different occasions.
We ask the US government to acknowledge the fact that Syedna Muffadal Saifuddin TUS is the rightful heir
