achieve the impeachment of Mayor Bloomberg for the imposition of the racist stop and frisk policy on the NYPD.

This petition is for the impeachment of Mayor Michael Bloomberg of the New York state for the countless injustices committed against innocent black and Hispanic/ Latino civilians of New York under the stop and frisk policy. After stopping over 600,000 plus citizens in 2011, a wide majority of them "minorities", it is evident that it's an excuse to harass, assault, brutalize and plant drugs on innocent human beings. It is a violation of our civil rights to be stopped for unreasonable searches because of skin color, speech mannerism, dress customs, and/or political beliefs. Stop and frisk not only provokes the black and hispanic/latino youth to react against racist Police officers, but in effect, it also prevents them from having an equal employment opportunities in the work force.
