What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If the military, federal authorities, police, cartels and criminals have high capacity magazines and assault rifles then the American public has a right to them.
The right of law abiding Americans to bear arms is guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. To quote George Washington -“firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth”.
Without the freedom of citizens to be reasonably armed, the tendency toward tyranny is uncontrollable - even in America. Sadly, some are attempting to use the unspeakable murders in Sandy Hook, Ct to unreasonably infringe on this sacred right. Don't allow this. Limiting citizen’s access to have equal arms ensures eventual loss of freedom
