Acknowledge and admit the U.S. Government does have a spending problem that must be addressed immediately.

Created by A.C. on January 10, 2013

In negotiations with congressional leadership regarding the recent "fiscal cliff," President Obama is quoted as saying, "we don't have a spending problem." The massive deficit in government revenue versus expenditures and resulting national debt would suggest otherwise. No amount of taxing United States citizens will correct this imbalance if spending is not reigned in. The first step in reigning in this spending is agreeing and admitting that there is a spending problem. We call on President Obama to recognize and acknowledge this problem and take bipartisan steps to remedy this problem in the immediate future.
