Acknowledge and comment on the murder of Chris Lane, the Australian baseball player killed in Oklahoma out of "boredom."

Chris Lane was killed by three males for "the fun of it" on August 16, 2013. Two have been charged with first degree murder. On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, Josh Earnest, principal deputy White House press secretary, said he was not familiar with the murder during Wednesday’s White House briefing. This is a tragedy and President Obama should offer his opinions and thoughts on such to help lead the country through this and to maintain relations with Australia.
