To acknowledge and condemn the illegal detention of United States marine John Hammar in Mexico.

In August of 2012 John Hammar attempted to pass through Mexico to go on vacation to help recover from PTSD. He was told by American officials that he would be able to bring his great-grandfathers antique shotgun to hunt with if he registered it with Mexican authorities. He did this but when he crossed the border he was arrested on gun charges that were punishable up to 12 years in prison. He and his family were verbally assaulted and threatened by Mexican prisoners. In addition to that he was chained to bed and not fed or hydrated properly by prison officials. The Obama Administration has been quiet on this and it is unacceptable. I call on the Obama Administration to acknowledge and condem this horrible injustice, so help me God.
