Dear Mr. President,
We petition your administration to acknowledge and protect the Second Amendment of our Nation's Constitution; The Right to Bear Arms.
Firearms help everyday citizens to defend and protect their families, property, and themselves from threats to their own lives or the lives of others. By limiting and / or altering this amendment the lives of many everyday citizens will be placed at risk. Thieves and criminals will always have access to firearms, whether or not it is legal for them to do so. If firearms become restricted, good law abiding citizens will be left defenseless, thus allowing for criminals to steal, attack, murder, rape, kidnap, and control those without protection.
By siding with the UN Gun Treaties, our right to bear arms will slowly begin to disappear.
