Cheesecake has been called a cake for a while. Howver, cheesecake has a crust and filling, which qualifies it as a pie. Also, cake MUST have flour in it, and cheesecake has no flour. We don't want to change the actual word of cheesecake to cheesepie, we just want it acknowledged and taught in the general community that cheesecake is a pie.
