The Obama administration promised to recognise the Armenian genocide upon entering its first term in office, however, to this day, the President has not done so. President Obama, like all U.S. presidents before him, has avoided using the word Genocide in his speeches concerning the clear systematic murder of up to 1.5 million Armenian men, women and children.
