We wish to congratulate the President on his second term in office. We also wish to remind the President that Palestinians also have a dream. That dream is for civil and political rights.
Blind defense of Israeli policy belies the principles of American democracy, rejects freedom, and harms our national and economic security. While we understand the interests of other constituents, Palestinians must be granted full sovereignty in their own sustainable country within the borders of 1967.
In lieu of a real two-state solution, the Administration is obliged to support Palestinian civil and political rights within Israel, condemn apartheid and theocracy, and promote a real democratic state in the region. Palestinians deserve self-determination or suffrage. Please make a choice. Thank you.
