British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan has exercised his FIRST Amendment rights in discussing the very important issue of gun control in the United States. He, like many mothers, fathers and others throughout the United States, believes the time has come to have a national dialogue about enacting serious and meaningful gun control in this country.
In retaliation, over 55,000 people (as of the creation of this petition) have sought to have him deported (http://tinyurl.com/ccuq6yc). We believe THAT petition is an attack on the FIRST Amendment and that Piers Morgan should be acknowledged for addressing this very important issue. We believe that the 2nd Amendment was never intended to provide individuals the right to own the types of weapons that are available today.
