Acknowledge the fact that guns are not the origin of firearm related crime.

Firearms are often blamed for the violence and death that results from gun related crime. This is a blame game that the people of America need to stop playing. Every time an indvidual decides to take a life, it is a tragic happenstance; however, that does not make his tools guilty of his crime. A firearm is simply a tool that gets a small project from point A to point B. A firearm can neither hate someone, nor can it kill them. A firearm cannot pull its own trigger, or aim itself at another person. Only the individual who is holding the firearm can do those things. Humans are essentially still animals, and violence is part of our inherent nature as animals. Guns don't kill people. People kill people, and will probably continue to do so with whatever tools they find readily available.
