acknowledge the IRS should be eliminated and a national sales tax put in place.

Created by D.D. on November 15, 2012

Payroll taxes are a burden on many families. Eliminating the IRS and imposing a national sales tax would be fair and would allow families to keep more of their earnings. This would be a fair tax since every citizen or non citizen is a consumer at one point. States would pay the national sales tax to the US Treasury when collected on a monthly basis. This would streamline government revenue and would allow the government to project earnings easier. The biggest advantage is it would cut down on under reporting of income and other tax fraud due to everyone being taxed on what you spend not what you earn. Plus eliminating the current IRS would save billions.
