To acknowledge mental illness is a disability and get people the help they need. Including disability benefits.

Get mentally ill people the help they need. Not to be discriminated by their disease and turned away from many programs. There has been a lot of massive shootings due to the person carrying out the act had/has mental issues. The SSA does not see this as a way to receive disability benefits and make it impossible for people to receive them from this disease. We need to put a law in affect that helps people with mental illness the help they need. Help is needed this is an epidemic people are suffering.
