America's history regarding the abolishment of slavery changed the world and will be eternally remembered by future generations as a monumental achievement in the recognition of civil and human rights. Sadly slavery continues to be part of the fabric of American society as people seeking a better life in our country are unwittingly lured into the global human trafficking network. This phenomenon can only exists where there is lax law enforcement and moral entropy.
For a nation with a history as rich and colorful as ours, it is a moral and cultural outrage that we should be content with human trafficking, forced labor and sexual exploitation that comes with it.
The only response acceptable is the determination to use any means to once again, end slavery in America.
